This policy explains what personal data KeepUp processes, why, and the choices you have. It is a working draft and will be finalised before public launch.
Who we are
KeepUp (“we”) provides property-management software. For data-protection purposes we are the data controller for the account and property information you store with us. Contact: privacy@keepup-app.com.
Data we collect
• Account data — your name, email address, and authentication credentials.
• Property data you enter or upload — addresses, assets, documents, photos, maintenance tasks, issues, and the facts extracted from documents you provide.
• Billing data — subscription status and customer identifiers (card data is held by Stripe, never by us).
• Technical data — log and request metadata used to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
To provide the service: storing your records, generating maintenance schedules and alerts, sending transactional email, and processing billing. We use uploaded documents to extract property facts on your behalf. We do not sell your data.
Processors we rely on
• Google Firebase (authentication) and Cloud Firestore / Cloud Storage (data and file hosting), on Google Cloud.
• Google Vertex AI (Gemini) — to extract facts from documents you upload.
• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
• Mailgun — transactional email delivery.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. On account deletion we remove your personal data and property records, subject to any legal retention obligations.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including UK/EU GDPR) you may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data. Contact privacy@keepup-app.com to exercise these rights.
